Galway City Councillors (Local Council)
Knocknacarra is located in the Galway City West electoral area, which essentially comprises Knocknacarra and Salthill. We elect six Councillors, which is one-third of the total for the City. The Council deals with local matters that don't really concern national politics, such as the proposed Salthill bike lane.
