Roman Catholic
St John the Apostle
The local Catholic Church is St John the Apostle (knocknacarraparish.ie) on the Ballymoneen Road. Knocknacarra is in the Diocese of Galway and Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora.
Sunday Mass Times are 9:30, 10:45, 12 noon, and 5:30pm. For those unable to physically attend, they also stream mass online.

Church of Ireland
Anglicans are well-served with the beautiful Saint Nicholas' Collegiate Church, founded in 1320, in the city centre. Their website is stnicholas.ie. Rev Lynda Peilow is the first female rector of the church in its 700 year history!
Sunday services are at 8:30 (Holy Communion) and 11:00 (Parish Eucharist), also streamed online. Additionally, St Nicholas' run a small parochial school, which welcomes children of different religious and non-religious backgrounds.
The Society of Friends also meet in St Nicholas Parochial School.
Other Christian Denominations
United Methodist Presbyterian Church

The Presbyterian and Methodist Churches share the United Church of Galway (unitedchurchgalway.ie/), just off Eyre Square. The chapel is depicted here. Service is at 11am every Sunday.
Orthodox
For those of an Orthodox persuasion, Sf Nicolae Biserica Ortodoxa Romana (bisericaortodoxagalway.com) holds services in the chapel next to Coláiste Muire Máthair on the St Mary's Road in Salthill.
Baptist
Last but not least, the Galway City Baptist Church (galwaycitychurch.com) meet every Sunday morning at 11am in the Knocknacarra National School.
Islamic / Muslim

The Galway Islamic Cultural Centre (gicc.ie) is located across the Corrib on Sandview Drive. It is a non-profit charity providing services to the Muslim community in Galway, sometime holding Friday Prayer at the Westside Community Centre.
The Mary Mosque of Galway (galway-mosque.ie) is located on the Old Monivea Road, a 15-minute drive from Knocknaccara.
